How can I create a profile for my printer?

To create an ICC Profile you need to have characterization data. There are different scenarios.

1) You have a characterization data file saved on your computer

  1. Launch MYIROtools Profiler
  2. Select suitable profiling parameters
  3. Load the characterization data file as "Destination/Printer"
  4. Click "Start"

2) You measured a chart with MYIROtools Measure

  1. Open MYIROtools View
  2. Locate the measurement file in the Data List window
  3. Click on the Profiler Icon in the tools section at the top of the window
  4. Select suitable profiling parameters
  5. Click "Start"

3) You have a printed chart only

  1. Open MYIROtools Measure
  2. Connect your instrument
  3. Locate the chart definition file in the Data List window
  4. Measure the chart
  5. Click on the Profiler Icon in the tools section at the top of the window
  6. Select suitable profiling parameters
  7. Click "Start"

4) You start from scratch

  1. Start the workflow "Profiling CMYK" or "Profiling RGB" and follow the wizard

How can I quickly check the quality of a print?

Measure a printed control wedge and click the Analyze Icon

Choose an Analyze Setting and check the report
